Why not use acetylene to clean up the residual plastic on the screw of PVC Fiber Soft Hose Machine extruder?

In the production of plastic extrusion by using PVC Fiber Soft Hose Machine extruder equipment, sometimes the plastic products manufacturers need to replace the screw of the extruder on the PVC Fiber Soft Hose Machine. There are many plastic sticking on the screw. If we don’t finish the screw of PVC Fiber Soft Hose Machine, it will affect the protection and preservation of the screw of PVC Fiber Soft Hose Machine. It is not convenient to reuse, and it will shorten the life of PVC Fiber Soft Hose Machine.

For example, when the acetylene flame changes to durable blue when baking a part of the screw, it means that the metal structure of the part of the screw has changed, which will lead to the decrease of wear resistance of the part, and even the occurrence of wear resistance layer and matrix metal peeling. Otherwise, partial heating with acetylene flame will cause overheating on one side of the screw and then lead to bending of the screw. Most of the screw rods are made of 4140.H.T. steel. The service is very tight, generally less than 0.03mm. The flatness of the screw is mostly within 0.01 mm. When the PVC Fiber Soft Hose Machine screw is baked and cooled by acetylene flame, it is usually difficult to return to the original flatness.
