The earliest and simplest example of compound extrusion of PVC hoses is the well-known wire and cable. The more popular products in the past two years are aluminum-plastic composite pipes. Although the technical principles are the same, the technical difficulties of composite extrusion of rigid PVC profiles with steel sheets or profiled steels are much higher. The difficulty lies in the following: the compound extrusion die is more complex; the coextruded hard material cannot be wound like a copper wire; the bonding of the composite material to the PVC needs to be pre-treated and so on.
